Joni Mitchell performing live at the Newport Folk Festival 24 July
2022 singing her iconic Both Sides Now in her
first, triumphant return to the stage since suffering an aneurism in 2015.
Don Byron – b. 8 November 1958 (Bronx, NY).
The Beatles released what is being called their final song last
Thursday, “Now And Then.” Few people realize that their label, Apple Records, for
which they recruited several acts, released several jazz records including a
couple albums from the Modern Jazz Quartet.
It is election day in the United States, so in our blues segment I
am playing Natalie Merchant’s “Motherland.”
